Trestle Bridge Racing will be promoting the next race in the Mid Atlantic Super Series (MASS) this coming Saturday May 12th.  Below is a map of the new course for this year.

Shirk's Bike Shop will be holding its annual tent sale this Saturday May 5th. The shop is also running a big store sale on Friday and Saturday.

The shop hours are Friday 8am to 8am and Saturday 8-4pm. The tent out front will have older stock on closeout (wheels, shoes, apparel). The rest of the store will be on sale.

TBR will be heading to the Iron Hill Challenge this Sunday!  We are looking forward to finally getting the XC race season started.  Good Luck to all racers!

At the 2012 Greenbrier Challenge Madison Henry finished first in her age category and also received the Maryland state championship title.  She passed several of the boys in her age group that were released a few minute before her; and was in sight of the lead boys when her chain broke.  She was able to get it fixed but lost about 10min.  Overall she had the 3rd best time of both the boys and girls even with the mechanical.

Machaela Henry raced as well finishing the whole course and got TBR on the podium in the 10 and under girls.

Congratulations to Madison and Machaela on an excellent performance!

Race Weekend 04/30/2012
 
This past weekend brought TBR too many different race venues.  Racers were at the Greenbrier Challenge, Singlespeed-a-Palooza, and Michaux Maximus.  Congratulations to all racers!  

Greenbrier Challenge saw Mike O’Connor finish 3rd in CAT1

Singlespeed-a-Palooza saw Jeffrey Stevens finish 9th and Mike Campbell finish 35th in the Mens Open.

Michaux Maximus saw Nick McCormick finish 5th in the 40 mile single speed event, Steven Hecht finish 11th in the clydesdale masters class, and Chris Johnson finish 19th in the 20 mile race.

The Bike Line Fair Hill Race scheduled for April 22nd has been postponed due to the weather forecast.  The race has been rescheduled for June 3rd.
